Hi! My name is Jordan, I’m a designer with a desire to create positive and meaningful experiences for people. In 2018 I graduated from QUT with a Bachelor of Design (Honours), receiving 1st Class Honours. I majored in Industrial Design with a minor in Graphic Design.
Currently I am working as a Design Associate + Special Projects Lead at the BMW Group + QUT Design Academy. From May 2019 to February 2020 I lived in Munich while completing an internship at BMW, and in 2019 I was announced as the 2019 Graduate of the Year by the Design Institute of Australia. I was awarded with:
– Australian Design Graduate of the Year (Madeline Lester Award)
– Australian Industrial/Product Design Graduate of the Year
– QLD Overall Graduate of the Year, and
– QLD Industrial/Product Design Graduate of the Year

Experience & Employment
I have completed four internships which have all given me valuable industry experience and helped improve my skills as a designer. I have been fortunate enough to witness some of the manufacturing and design culture in Hong Kong and Japan after a Studies Tour at the end of 2017. My time in Asia also included a workshop with designers at TTi headquarters and a tour of their manufacturing facility in China.
